A Federal secretary in eye catching light mahogany with most of it's original brasses. Has fine carved half columns with long acanthus leaves topped by papyrus leaves and capitals. The top has two book shelves and three drawers, base has two long drawers over doors which have "bottle" or ledger drawers on either side. Five of the brass drawer pulls are original to the piece, three are replacements. The three wood finials are original, the brass eagle is new.
